Country Tour through the famous Havelland (35 km / 5 hours)
Highlight: We show you one of the northernmost sited wine growing districts of Europe in 'Werder', an ancient town beautifully situated on an island (wine tasting can be included).
Private arrangements are possible at any time and location in Potsdam by advanced booking.
Description: In the south west of Potsdam ranges an idyllic landscape with palaces, parks and pinewood as well as homey fishing villages around the lake of Schwielowsee. On our way are some more or less hidden treasures like Albert Einstein's summer cottage or the hunting palace in Caputh, the only remaining baroque palace around Potsdam. And in between we can climb the tower of the tiny, but very enchanting church made by Schinkel in Petzow and of course have a relaxing rest in one of the traditional restaurants. Back we can either cycle or take the train from Werder.
